“TRACES OF BEING”

Life’s lesson, they say, comes with the journey, not with the destination. Aside private salons, joint and group shows, “Traces of Being” is my sixth solo exhibition in twelve years as a professional artist.

It is a showcase that explores the kaleidoscopic nature of human emotions and expressions, as well as tension between ideas, freedom and control in our contemporary society.

My variegated views found expression through such mediums as acrylic/oil on canvas, mixed media with corrugated iron sheets, plastic plates and cutleries, bottle tops, and sundries. “Traces of being” is an interfusion of my being, our being.

Venue: Terra Kulture, plot 1376, Tiamiyu Savage street, Victoria island , Lagos.

Date: Friday 23 rd October, 2009 (opening by 5:30pm).
